I use a Dell Dimension 3000 (I think they only offer a 3100 now) Pentium 4
3.0 Gigahertz HT technology, 512 mb memory, 80 GB internal hard drive and an
80 GB Seagate external hard drive for backup. Audio & video support is
integrated. I purchased it with Microsoft Office 2003 and have upgraded the
Norton security to 2006. I loaded JAWS 7 on it first thing out of the box.
It has functioned smoothly with virtually no problems with the unit or JAWS.
It has XP Home on it. The monitor is a Dell 17 inch LCD.

Hi all, I am needing to buy a new computer. I would like to get some input
from you all on what kinds you are using. I need some specific information
on processor speed, hard drive size among other things. I have no idea on
what to buy. The one I have is five years old and was in my apartment with
water after Katrina for about two weeks before I could get it out and I am
afraid it will not last much longer. Thanks for any help you all can give.
