Hi Judy,

there are a couple of options: either get wmp to monitor the folders containing the files, or to select the files, start playing them in wmp, and then add the now playing list to the burn list.

option one:
In wmp, you can press f3 to open the add to library dialog. This contains a list view of the monitored folders, and following this there's an add button to add folders to this list.

option two:
1. In Windows explorer, select the files you want to burn, then if wmp is you default player, you can just press enter to start playing them in wmp. If wmp isn't you default player for these types of files, you can either choose add to windows media player list from the context menu, of change the default program for this file type.

2. Wmp opens on the now playing page, and starts playing the files. Don't stop the player yet, though you might want to reduce the volume (f8).

3. Press the burn button to move to the burn page.

4. Move to the library tree, and select now playing, then tab to the primary list view. Select all the tracks, and then choose add to burn list from the context menu. (once you're on the burn page you can stop the player - if you stop it before you get to the burn page, now playing does not appear in the library tree).

5. press the start burn button (alt + s).

David.

Can you get Windows Media to find files on your computer, in other words, browse your system? These are files that werent in the Windows Media library, and I wasn't sure how to get them there.

Your message is helping very much. Thanks.

Judy
