Here is something for you to play around with. I can't help you
specifically, but I think what you want might be done within this.
Bring up the JAWS Manager by pressing insert F2.
Arrow down to the Configuration Manager and press enter.
type ALT+S to bring up the Settings menu.
Type M or arrow down to Speech And Sounds Manager and press enter. Tab
twice to edit current scheme and press enter. press shift+tab to get
to the tab pages associated with this option. Press the right arrow
once to Control Type Tab. Tab and you will be on a list of control
elements. I have a list of 84 items.
Each one can be adjusted to speak in a different voice, not speak or play
a
sound.
Tab once beside each one and there will be a radio button for the 4
options.
Play a sound is the third choice.
When you choose one, such as play a sound, then tab for further options
to
pick the sound.
You can also have a control type say something other than the default
words.
Such as change radio button to just say radio.

I think the simple answer is yes, you can make this happen. But, I
doubt that there is a simple way to do it. I would guess, without
having investigated too much, that it would require some scripting.
My current personal project is to find out if I can make the label
that jaws speaks for a checkbox read after the word "Checkbox",
instead of before.
