alt+D not working

Hello,
I am using Jaws7.0 with Windows XP Media Center Edition.
For some reason, alt+D is not working in Internet Explorer 6. It was working
fine earlier...until I lost my Internet connection temporarily. When the
Internet was working again, I went to IE 6, pressed alt+D to enter a
website, but it wouldn't go to the address browser.
What is wrong? What can I do?
