My best advice is to spend some time exploring the screen, clicking on some of 
the graphics and see what happens. Then use the graphics labeler to assign 
labels that will help find the important clickables.

My biggest complaint is that the "import" button is completely inaccessible 
even with the jaws cursor. It doesn't even seem to have a graphic associated 
with it.

But as you say you can get around that by using the "add to library" choice 
from the file menu.
