I received my XPSP3 update this evening and when I installed it, there was no
speech from Jaws during the entire process. I was lucky to have someone who
could tell me what was going on or I'd never have known. I, too, am using Jaws
6.20 and not having any trouble so far.

I think I'll wait for it to come in Windows Update.
  Its much easier.

I'm using Braille display so it is sure much easier but I think that you can
use insert+b to listen to the progress of the installation.

Just want to ask does JAWS talk during the installation process?

  Thanks.

  Hi friends,

I've downloaded and installed successfully Service Pack 3 and it works
properly on my XP Pro Machine.
I also suggest to analyze whether you need to defrag your computer or not.
It's because this Pack 3 is a file of 316 MB about.
