Chris,
In fact, with JAWS 9 the spell checker in OE that came with XP Pro works
very nicely. However I suspect it may be because the OE spell checker is a
third-party application that I'm using.
If you or anyone else on this list recall, Outlook Express as delivered with
XP Pro only does spell check in French. It requires a separate application
to be installed to get it back to checking in English.
The version of OE that I have is: 6.00.2900.5512
The application I installed is: Spell Checker for OE 2.1
