Hi everyone, when Julie asked this question the other day, below is the
message I sent her privately.  I didn't hear back from her, but since she
says she got it to work now, maybe this is how.  Or maybe she found a  more
efficient way, but this is what I sent her.
in windows media player 9, if you have something playing, you can go to the
view menu, enter on go to, then enter on "now playing".
In the now playing
window, you can tab to the "seek" slider bar and use the left and right
arrow keys to go forwards and backwards.
However they problem is getting there is a pain!  You have to tab or shift
tab about 20 times to reach that seek slider bar.
