See my follow-up message in reply to Rick's. This Winampa error happened
when Winamp wasn't opened at all, and caused a 'general error'. If you don't
have a problem, that's fine. You might some day. I've enough things running
in my System Tray anyway without it.

What sorts of errors? Errors related to which applications?
    Thanks.

It has been known to be involved in errors necessitating computer restarts.

Disable it from the System Tray; and do not install it in the future.
(You do this by unchecking it, in the list of items that comes up during
installation.)

Does this still create conflicts with current versions of JAWS? If so,
is it adequate to disable it from the system tray or do I need to
uninstall/reinstall WinAmp and this time not install that component? Thanks.
