Hi, I'm using 64 bit Windows 7 with 4GB running an Intel I5 processor and it flies along. I do intend o getting another 4GB ram so will be interest to see the difference but I'd go ahead with just getting 64 bit Windows 7 as the hardware manufacturers will have the drivers for the hardware they ship with their PCs so no issues there and as yet I've not had any programmes that won't run on 64 bit windows.
