Webvisum is an add-on to Firefox which enables blind users to use
 "captcha".
There are websites that have an image, usually consisting of alpha-numeric
characters, which must be entered into an edit field; often to register.
Webvisum allows the blind user to capture the image and paste it into the
 appropriate field.

Some web designers include an audio verification that a blind user may use
instead of the image verification which JAWS cannot identify.
Unfortunately, not all web designers have the forethought to realize that
 a
blind individual may visit and use their web site.

I hope I've explained it correctly. I am a newbie at using Firefox and
 Webvisum.

I Googled it but got only three hits, all of them messages from the PC
 Audio

list, none of which explain what it is. A program, I assume. But for what?
