note you can also use this voice as your default synthesizer. -----Original Message----- From: jfw-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:jfw-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Lora Sent: Sunday, November 26, 2006 6:22 AM To: jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: RE: What do you use the real speak solo syth for? I use Realspeak for Say All, when I want a pleasant voice to listen to. For instance, I might use the Realspeak Lee to read a book, or while listening to my daughter's essay, etc. To turn them on, go into the JAWS Configuration Manager by hitting Insert+F2, and then C until it says Configuration Manager. Press Enter. If you only want to use the Realspeak voices in a specific program, make sure that program is open before going into the Configuration Manager. If you want to use it in all programs, press Control+Shift+D once you've opened the Configuration Manager. JAWS should say, "Default.jcf, Jaws Configuration Manager." Now press Alt+S for Settings, and then arrow down until you hear, "Say All Settings." Press Enter. The first checkbox should say, "Use Sapi 5 for Say All." If this is unchecked, press the spacebar to check it. Then hit tab and choose a voice. I use Lee, but you can up and down arrow through the voices to see which ones you like. Once you've done that, tab through the other options and set them as you like. When you reach OK, press Enter to apply your settings, and control+S to save them. Now you can close the Configuration Manager with Alt+F4. What happens now is that when you use Insert+Downarrow to do a say all, the SAPi voice you just chose will be the one that reads for you. If you want Eloquence to read for Say All, just hit Alt+Insert+Downarrow instead. I hope this helps. _____ From: jfw-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:jfw-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Jeanette Sent: Saturday, November 25, 2006 10:05 PM To: jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: What do you use the real speak solo syth for?
