Hi bruce ys infact these files should be there  in the personal folder if
you infact have edited them.  Now see my other method on another approach to
editing the default file.  But under stand if you are going to edit your
default files when you update you may need to remove them and start over.  I
think we should all right to fs and give them the other alternative I gave
in my last message.  This will avoid  this problem for  ever more.

It's a fair question, Chris, but consider. Your user directory should not 
be the place where these default configuration files are located. What 
needs to be fixed is whatever sequence of events caused those files to be 
there in the first place. It's like expecting a boat engine to 
automatically shut-down as a failsafe if it is run in the middle of the 
Sahara.
