you can try to press shift+Enter on the link.
also check to see if you have google tool bar checked on the view menu/tool
bar
if so, uncheck it it may help.

Hi I was wondering if any you might be able to help me with a problem I
am having. I am unable to load some links off of various web pages. I select
a link, and get a bloopy noise and then the page is prevented from coming up.
For examble the Perkinslibray.org web site and then selecting online catalog
offerings, this is the NLS library for my area and I would like to access the
online catalog, but cant because I get the bloopy noise. I assume this must
have to do with a pop up blocker of some type, but I removed a program called
Stopzilla, and I only have Norton Internet Security, and might need a hand with
shutting off the add blocking on it, but I also think it might be off. If
someone or a few persons would like to assist me, it can be done through my
