Yep based on the podcast I'd say you can do it. From how it was described you can edit the registry and everything as you were sat there at the PC. You just can't transfer files, but there are ways around that anyway using email and instant messengers.

Subject: TandemCenterQuestion

Hello all,
Using the tandem center as a controller, would you be able to install a program for your friend on their system?
And this is to say that they have the installation file themselves.
I know that I myself have walked friends through installing different programs on their systems.
Some people are just not comfortable installing programs themselves.

Just curious.
