Your email implies that if your a jaws user and you want to help another jaws user occasionally, you wont have to pay anything. However that isn't how I understood it. The person acting as the 'controller' will either pay the quarterly or anual amount, but the person who's PC your connecting to wont pay anything.
Basically means unless your going to use the system quite a bit, it's not worth it.
As usual with these things, a great idea, but lower the price a bit, and I gaurantee you'd make more money because lots more people will use them.

I just listened to the FSCast, too. I'm not an ITunes user, although I
certainly can appreciate the difference this scripting I think there's some built-in scripting in Jaws 10, anyway)and the MSAA on Apple's side will make 
with Jaws, because I once explored the site out of curiosity and realized
that without buying the JTunes scripts,there wasn't a chance in the world
that I could even familiarize myself with the site's layout and features. So 
that's great, for those who will use it.

But the feature they're making the big fuss about is this Tandem function
that will allow someone, for instance a Jaws tech support person, to
directly connect with a Jaws user's computer and actually operate it, tweak settings and scripts, and all sorts of helpful things. Just plain Jaws users will be able to also use the feature for free acting as the "controller" to 
help a Jaws-using friend if it's only occasional usage, or pay a quarterly
or annual subscription fee. But for the user, the main advantage will be
that when you call FS tech support, they can connect with you and do stuff
on your own computer, and you can continue to operate from your side, as
well, if that's called for. The podcast explains very clearly how it works. 
In this case, of course, the Jaws customer doesn't have to pay any fee. FS
is paying on the support side, the "controller's" fee it's called.
I remember a few years ago I got frustrated about an FS tech support person 
not being able to duplicate a problem I was describing, in this case a
couple of bugs that he had a hard time understanding and couldn't duplicate 
on is own computer. I remember saying something  like that audible.com had
something like this in place for years, and had often helped me with
difficult issues, so what was the big deal for FS? Of course there were
reasonable-sounding answers about the complexity of a screen reader being
involved or something, so I just let it go. But this ought to be really nice 
for some users, especially newer ones but not exclusively so.
