that's what I want to do, the virus scan. Did it work okay with JAWS? And did it tell you how many viruses you had and where they were or did it allow you to get rid of them? How long do you mean that it took? thanks for your help, Gene. They also have a free online virus scann but be prepared because it takes quite some time. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Arianna Calesso" <acalesso@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Tuesday, September 21, 2004 1:00 PM Subject: Symantec's security check | I'm using JAWS 5.10 and Windows XP Home and I'm wondering about doing a virus scan using symantec's security check. How does it function with JAWS? Do I need to shut my present antivirus program, AVG free edition, down when I do the scan? | Any way that you can advise me will be appreciated. | | Arianna Calesso | -- | To post a message to the list, send it to jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx | To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send a message to jfw-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the word unsubscribe in the subject line. | Archives located at: //www.freelists.org/archives/jfw | | If you have any concerns about the list, post received from the list, or the way the list is being run, do not post them to the list.
