First, this will be my last response on this topic, as I feel it's getting
off topic for a JAWS list. Maybe if those interested could possibly
subscribe to the Windows@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx list and discuss it further
there. I don't want to get into any trouble here continuing to post what is
probably considered an off topic issue.

Hi Jerry,
As far as placing the files on the C: drive to build the CD, I'm not aware
that one must do this on an XP system. It would just be a matter of having
the necessary XP CD or whatever to copy. Since I am only running XP, I
don't have a system to test it on, but I would imagine even running the
necessary commands to slipstream SP1 into the XP CD folder would still work,
even on 98, but of course that's a guess.

I built my slipstream XP CD from my Windows XP Upgrade CD, not even an OEM
or manufacturer CD. The Upgrade CD is the only one I am aware of that would
allow one to upgrade an older OS like 98 up to XP; however, even doing that
isn't like having a dual boot system where one could use 98 or reboot into
XP, if that's what you're getting at. I will admit to not having experience
with multi boot systems, booting into different ones installed on the same
machine, and also don't know what issues might be involved in FAT32 vs NTFS
in such a case. Hopefully there are others here who can respond to that.
