Re: Speech during setup and or install of Windows!

A slipstreamed SP1 CD is one of the "original" or first release Windows XP
CDs that has SP1 integrated into it (simple definition). Thus, when the
resulting CD is used to install XP, there is no need to then use Windows
Update to install SP1, or the network install of SP1, as it is already
installed.

The instructions are there, from a link off to another web site. The one I
used is:
http://www.theeldergeek.com/slipstreamed_xpsp1_cd.htm
This link and one other is given farther on down in the Getting Started
section. I have successfully completed and used the slipstreamed SP1 CD I
made, and I have no usable vision nor did I have any assistance making the
CD. I did obviously have some help testing it to install because it wasn't
yet the completely unattended one, but is necessary in order to get to that
point. Hopefully I'll find the time to get through the rest of this one
day. Meanwhile, I've skimmed through it all and it looks promising.
