Hi Nancy, indeed the open and save as dialogues has changed slightly in Vista, in that the folder list and look in box are hidden by default. To show them, in any open or save as dialogue box, tab to the browse folders button and activate it. Focus will then land on the folder list, where you can save or open a document as normal. FYI, this setting is remembered across Windows sessions, so no need to click the browse folders button each time you come across these dialogues. Hope that helps.

I'm using Vista Home Premium and Jaws version 8.

I want to save a Notepad document to my external hard drive.
When I go to save as..., it is different from Windows XP. Does not give me an
option to save it to another location.
Using Jaws 8, can anyone give me the key strokes to get to a place where it
will let me choose to save the document to another location?

Thanks so much.Nancy
