Normally, techies suggest to wait about 8 months prior to renovating
operating systems. This is the case for many governmental agencies. So, wait
and see in this situation seems to be wiser.

Hello Listers!
In late October I installed SP2 from the disk I received from Microsoft
which resulted in more things being screwed up than I can remember, so I
uninstalled SP2 after which things were back to normal.
I am wondering if it is now safe to download and install SP2, what does
the general consensus think?
I am using Jaws 5.10.383 with XP professional on a Pentium 4 with 3 gig CPU
& 512 MB memory
Have a nice day
