Why don't you just change the keystroke you use for route jaws to pc?
Press insert and the number 8 on the number row.
Press control shift D to open the default keyboard manager.
This should focus you on default.
Tab once to the list of keystrokes assignments.
Press R and arrow down to Route Jaws to Pc Cursor.
Either bring up the context menu and enter on change keystroke or just use
the shortcut control H.
Then press the new keystroke you want to use for route jaws to pc.
Tab and uncheck assign to desktop keys only.
Tab and enter on okay to save your changes.
It will ask you to confirm you want to save your changes.
Enter on yes.

This is a problem I've had for many months, with no solution from FS. So,
I guess the solution is don't use a USB keyboard if at all possible.

Does the PC have a keyboard connected via the USB port? If so, then
this will be a problem.

My friend installed JAWS version 7.0 on his machine. Almost everything
works fine except one problem we have discovered. When I asked him to route
JAWS to PC, JAWS didn't announce any. Actually, it didn't work at all! And

thing, is this the default you get when you install this version? I remember
I encountered something settings for this a long time ago but, I'm not so
