Well, you get the fastest speed with an Ethernet connection. But you can
use a USB connection as well. This is slower, but I can't say by how much
because I've never tried it this way. Most computers that have been built
in the last 4 years usually have an Ethernet connection port built right
into the motherboard. They look like an oversized phone jack, and can be
found on the rear of the computer.
