I'm afraid it can get complicated. You also have a choice as to whether you see certain aspects of changes out in the margin, or mixed in with the text of the document. Finally, you should be aware that anything that was once in a document which uses tracked changes may still be there even after you've deleted or changed it. If you ever wrote "my boss is a jerk" for instance, then thought better of it and deleted it, then gave him a copy of the Word document, he could dig up the previous version before your deletion. You'll need to download and learn how to use MS's "remove hidden data" tool if you're going to be handing your Word documents to other people or publishing them in any way. hth, Chip Chip Orange Database Administrator Florida Public Service Commission (850) 413-6314 chip.orange@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx =20 > -----Original Message----- > From: jfw-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx=20 > [mailto:jfw-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Catherine Turner > Sent: Friday, January 14, 2005 11:32 AM > To: jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx > Subject: RE: Revisions/track changes in Word >=20 > Thanks for the info.
