I tried Ricque's suggestion of trying to label the graphic for "received after" and have it not say anything, but JAWS reported that I was not on a graphic. I couldn't find any numbered graphics in the vicinity of the "received after." The closest thing I found was a "corner" and there is a "corner" associated with "received before" so I didn't want to try to silence the "corner" since JAWS wasn't saying "corner." JAWS 6 also seems to be saying "received after" when I've deleted the last message in the message list of messages found with the Advanced find command. I'm also getting extra verbiage with the Insert-control-f command in an open message when I'm trying to find something in a message I've received. This also hasn't happened in previous versions of JAWS. Thanks for any other ideas anyone can offer. Margaret "Ricque" wrote: Hi Margaret, Here is a thought, While in OE, see if you can locate, "received after", with the Jaws cursor. If you can place the Jaws cursor on, "received", and then activate the graphics labeler. If this an actual graphic, then when you activate the graphics labeler, you will be able to delete the current label, and save your change to the application file. If that works, you will no longer hear that spoken. Tip: It's a good idea to backup your JFW settings folder before making changes, that way if you need to return to the original settings, you can simply replace them HTH, Ricque ----- Original Message ----- From: "Margaret Thomas" <iluvtoread@xxxxxxx> To: <jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Thursday, January 27, 2005 3:23 AM Subject: Re: "Received After" with Advanced Find OE/J6.0 > Hi Ricque, > > Yes, I've rebooted several times since I installed JAWS 6.0 and > I'm still hearing "received after." > > Thank you for the suggestion.
