Also, JFW now has a new command for reading rows, which is far less of a
digit breaker than the last one.  Often I want to see a particular row
on a county code or provider list, and can now do it with Windows-comma.

One you are actualy in the table, trying using ALT + CONTROL + ARROW to
move 
around the table. If the table is done in a good format, JAWS will then
read 
to you the Column and Row headings as you move along. I think it's
great, 
but I used to use the same method as you and didn't realise what JAWS
could 
do.
