the quickest resolution to this is to reinstall jaws. When you go to
reinstall, a dialog will come up asking what to do. Choose repair if it is
available or remove and then just reinstall. I suspect that the shortcuts
have been removed.

Subject: Problem locating JAWS

Hi Everyone, I hope someone will have a suggestion for this. This is a
question for my friend. He has Windows XP and JAWS 5.0. I wanted to help him
out by teaching him more about JAWS and what you can do with it and changes
you can make with it. I wanted my friend to go to JAWS on his Desktop but it
wasn't there so I told him to go to his start menu and open JAWS from there
and it wasn't there either. I know this because I was on the phone with him
and nothing came up. It is still in his Task bar. I don't know if this would
have anything to do with it but awhile back he got some kind of parasite on
his computer and he got a tech out to his home and the tech set back the
time on his computer before he got the parasite. Like I said I don't know if
this has anything to do with it but I do know that when I have talked to him
on the phone before the parasite thing I did hear JAWS on his Desktop. Can
any one help? Thanks for any help in advance.
Melissa
