Unless you have some reason to change any of those settings don't bother going there. Just press CTRL-P and when the dialog opens hit enter. The print operation should begin. I just thought though, most printers have a button to put them on or off line, they usually default to off line when the cover is open for example, to load ink or when the printer is first plugged in. If this is the case then your computer is probably waiting for the printer to acknowledge it is receiving data. Hope this helps. If I can be of further assistance contact me off list.
