When I installed Jaws 8, I couldn't get the hot key to go in and be recognized unless I pressed the whole key stroke combination. Furthermore, When I entered it in the dialog, I couldn't read it as having been entered and recognized until I left the dialog and returned to it. And I couldn't do anything about it until I had removed the desktop icon of Jaws 7.1. Lois Goodine.
