This is funny; I use End it all all the time with XP and service pack 2.

Subject: PView and shutting off programs

Hello Group
I used to use "End It All" until I could not get it to work with Windows XP
and SP2, so now I am trying PView from the jfwlite web page.
The program PView comes up OKAY, but when I try to shut off some of the
programs I am told that can not be shut down.
I have thirty programs on the PView list Windows Explorer and JFW is
included, I know not to Kill these programs, Dud, but not on the rest?
One is smt.exe which I assume is Sygate firewall?
PView shows all programs to shut down with the Acronyms and I am guessing at
which is the one I want to shut down for Norton's and Sygate.
With "End It All" everything listed shut down fine and the process was easy,
not so for me with PView, Poop!
Any suggestions on how to manage this program?
Dick
