Good afternoon
I am not an expert, but I believe the problem has something to do with the
video settings. If you haven't tried it already, I would call customer
service. The number in the U.S. is 727.803.8600.

Subject: PROBLEM WITH JAWS ON LAPTOP
Hallo,
My name is Morné and I am from South Africa. I'm a new member to the
list.
I urgently need your help. I'm a university student and I'm using a
laptop to take notes in the class. I use a Dell Laptop and Jaws 8.
If I open a document in Word, I cannot use my up and down arrows in
the text. Jaws then tells me the word blank. I can only use co ntrol
left and control right arrows. I cannot use my up and down arrows to
read text. The same in Outlook. Jaws does not want to read my list
of messages in my inbox. I just hear the word blank all the time. Can
someboddy please help me? Kind regards, Morné
