I second that. It is not a good idea to use the preview pane. It can open
you up for viruses and active-X content laden email. It also will delay
speech if you have long HTML messages in the Inbox as JFW will try to parse
the HTML. I use AVG 7 and it is less obtrusive than other antivirus software
I've used such as Norton Anti-Virus or McAfee, so I don't think that is the
most likely culprit.
