Did you say your machine is brand-new? If so, you might want to make sure
your computer is set properly to function with JAWS.
For example, is Windows set to the Classic Style? For details on these
settings, visit:

Subject: New 5.0 User Not Happy

I just installed 5.0 on a brand-spanking-new XP Pro machine, and I
don't like what I'm finding. Half the menus don't speak right when I
move my cursor up, down, left or right. I duplicated the settings on
the new machine that were on another XP Pro system I successfully got
working. and .. nothing at all is fixing my problem. Anyone notice
this and have a workaround for it?

Thanks in advance.
