Subject: Narrator Again

Hi All,

JAWS 6.0 is still crashing on my XP Home machine with SP2 and I
tried Narrator once the first week I got the computer after one crash
to try to find out was on the screen since sighted help wasn't
available. All it did was echo my keystrokes and gave me no clue
whatsoever where I was. Then I couldn't exit it and ended up having
to get a sighted neighbor anyway.

Does Narrator have to be "primed" or configured somehow to make it
usable?

    Thanks,
Margaret
