Hi All:

Here is a little more information on the problem I'm working with
someone on that I sent a message about earlier today, where JAWS won't
pronounce certain words properly.

Again, the client is using 7.1. When he, for example, encounters the
word "don't" his JAWS says "don ' t. It does this even when the word
"don't" is typed properly and when there is no mixed case characters in
the word. This also happens to him with words like "wasn't," or
"doesn't."

Since my 7.1 installation does not do this, I took a look at both the
default dictionary and the dictionaries for Microsoft Word and Outlook
Express. I could not find anything in there that would be causing this.

We checked out the client's JAWS installation and he's using the Freedom
Scientific Eloquence synthesizer and he has the correct version on his
computer.

Anyone know what we can do to fix this for the client?

Thanks,
