i installed it
upond first installation
no cursor could actavate a scan
if you could not see it it couldn't be done
but once in the system tray
the context menu has a scan option which actavates a scan
the default auto scan was 2 a.m.
which is ok by me

It is possible, but only with the jaws cursor; the program is a real
mess.
