Mc Afee or controllable virus scan

Hi Listers, my Mc Afee 6.50 personal firewall and virus scan Is driving me
bonkers, ever since I installed it on my new computer. I am unable to set the
prescheduled scan because JFW does not read the prompts on the screen. My
sighted geek friend can reddally do this and also start the scan manually. Have
any of you been able to work with Mc Afee 6.50 or do you know of a
Firewall-virus scan program you can control with Jaws? I am using Jaws 6.0 with
Win XP home. Enormous thanks upfront!
