I would suggest that you start out by checking to make sure jfw is set to speak
only highlighted text by pressing insert plus the letter s. Maybe your setting
is set to speak all. With the setting on highlighted, jfw should speak the cell
contents and its coordinence. Even when using your arrow keys, jfw should speak
this way in Excel. Hope this helps and let me know if this works.

Hi all,
I need to know how I can have JAWS tell me what is visible on the screen
when I'm working on tables, in Word or Excel. The problem is, JAWS reads
everything
written in the cells, also text that is not visible on the screen, so when I
print out tables they are always a mess and a sighted colleague always has
to arrange them to make them legible. Needless to say this drives me crazy!
any suggestion would be HIGHLY appreciated.
