Making Jaws Speak Desktop Icons

Hi
  I really need help.  I don't know how I did it but somehow I have made Jaws 
become silent when it comes to reading the desktop icons.  I am using Jaws 10 
and windows XP.  Please can someone help.  Thanks in advance.
