Hi Jeff, Sounds like you may have to experiment with the jfw braille settings. You might try going into the basic settings for jfw, locate the braille options, and check the braille mode option. There are 3 choices, structured, line, and speech box. The default is structured, and I'm not sure if this is also the default within word or not. Anyway, it almost sounds like you're in line mode for braille, but that's just a guess. What I'm suggesting is that you might want to experiment with these 3 modes to see which works best for you. I'm not sure if this is a global setting for all applicaitons when you're running jfw or if you can set it differently for each application. I hope this will help you at least a little. When I pull up a MS-Word document, I see only relatively few letters on the left margin of the document - in other words I mean that more than half of the left side of Braille display is blank. This sure makes reading stuff quite tedious. Is there a way that we can make the Word documents show up starting from the first Braille cell for the first letter of each line, please. Many thanks in advance.
