Hi Pat, What are your sound card and video card? Some are not compatible with Jaws. Unloading Jaws and reloading it resolves the problem for a while and then... See what I mean? Bachir ----- Message d'origine ----- De : Pat Pound À : jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Envoyé : lundi 21 juin 2004 15:36 Objet : Loosing Speech with Laptop I am using the latest Jaws on a Sony Vaio laptop running Windows XP. I often loose speech if the computer has been on for a while, I have to totally reboot. This often happens when I have not been active on the computer but also happens in the middle of reading a long word document. Advice?
