Sorry I must disagree here.  you do not have to add your display again once
you do a jaws update.  Simply run the update from the help system and your
Braille display speech setting etc will just carry over.  Now if you are
talking about an upgrade from one major version to another this information
is correct.

Hi, Cheryl.
I use a Powerbraille 65/80. Updating Jaws with a braille display is the same

as with speech, except that for each update, you need to remember to add 
your braille display. In your case, I believe you would add the Alva model 
you're using. Most of the settings you used before the update should be 
saved.

Does anyone here use a braille display? I want to update jaws to stay
current, but I don't know how that'd work with my alva.
