I locate the files by using XP's search/find (Windows key-f) for the term .dmp, as in dot dmp. Periodically I highlight the list and delete them all. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- ---- From: jfw-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:jfw-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Mike & Barbara Arcadia Sent: Saturday, November 27, 2010 2:55 PM To: jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: Re: Keystroke Hi Dave; The " JAWSMemDmp " file is stored in the following. This keystroke is for removing JAWS from memory when it is acting strangely and will not remove itself with the normal unload command: Insert+F4. This keystroke also creates a data file which can be analyzed to see what the computer's conditions or environment were at the time JAWS was removed from memory. I hope this helps you.
