A netbook is basically a small laptop that's somewhere between 8 and 10
inches wide. Well it's small which is a good thing, but it's not very fast
really. I'd probably never be able to do half the things I do on my laptop
because the netbook has only 1 or 2 gb of ram if you're lucky.

I'm using windows 7 with jaws just fine. It can be a bit on the slow side
with JAWS 10, but it's much better in JAWS 11. I know what you're saying
about vista though. I thought it was pretty good, but it hates having more
than 2 or 3 applications running at the same time.
You can still buy windows xp on a netbook, but not on a desktop or a larger
laptop.

Hey guys. I want to get a new computer, but apparently windows XP isn't sold
anymore. Does jaws work with windows 7, because windows vista? I tried that
on my mom's computer and jaws just...ugh. Security windows popping up
everywhere, jaws wasn't reading properly... Does anyone know if windows 7
works with jaws, and if not, do you know of anywhere that will sell XP or
add XP if I have a computer custom made / build up from scratch, etc?
