Hi folks.

I have an Alva sattlelite at school which works very well. However, it took
some doing to get it up and running. It does not suffice to tell Jaws that
you are using the Alva. You must load the special drivers for Windows that
comes with the unit. If you do not have them, you can obtain them as
downloads, either from the distributor in California, probably the best way
to go, or, alternatively, you can go to the site in the Netherlands where
the device is manufactured. Take care to get the most current drivers for
the Sattlelite, although, unless I am mistaken, the downloadable package
includes just about all drivers for all their equipment. Be sure to
carefully follow the step-by-step procedure as recommended by the
manufacturer. I didn't, thinking I could wing it. Once I went back and rtfm,
everything worked splendidly.

Regards to everyone,

Jerry
