Hello Crystal.
It also happened on my work PC, some months ago, when I updated from JAWS 8 to
JAWS 9, there I have a username and password to login. First of all username
and password was deactivated, then reinstall JAWS and finally I created a
shortcut on a desktop icon befor restart my PC, so when the problem have been
solved, i reactivated my username and my password.
 I hope it helps you.

Subject: Jaws failing at start up

  hi,
I am using Jaws 10, XP Home, sp 3.

Several days ago, when I boot up the computer, Jaws fails to start running.

I get the error message, and use the "don't send report" option.

I then bring Jaws up with the hot key, and everything is fine.

I checked to be sure that Jaws was still set to start automatically, which it
is.

I'm just puzzled as to why this would suddenly start happening.

I did run regular computer maintenance, just to see if that might fix
anything, which it didn't.

I'm not noticing any other problems with the computer, just the failure of
Jaws to load properly at start up.

  Crystal
