I think there are a lot of us using SBCDSL.
I agree, you don't need the SBC software and be sure to leave the Yahoo
stuff in the box.
SBC does a fairly good job of filtering out viruses and such.

We have used SBC DSL for over two years and it works just fine. No Jaws
issues - I would suggest not loading the SBC/YAHOO software. You don't
need it and it will just get in your way.
