Hi Bob, You need to change it from the, voices sub-menu in the Jaws application. There will usually be 2 radio buttons there, one for global, and the other for the application that you have open when you go to Jaws. You need to select the, global. After you have made your adjustments and okayed the dialogue, the change should be immediate. I have found however, that sometimes you need to unload Jaws, and then re-load it for some changes to take affect. Usually, this is not the case with the voice rate adjustment.
