JFW & budget/financing software

I have neither Microsoft Money, nor Microsoft quicken and would like to keep a
running balance of my finances/transactions on my pc. My online banking site
only offers downloadable files for both programs I have mentioned. Can anyone
help? I've yet to find a program suitable for this task. Thank you in advance
for any info you may have.
