JFW Compatible Spyware Remover

Hello All,
I used to use adaware before the current version became totally inaccessible
and I used to use spybot but I installed version 1.5 and could never get
beyond the update selection window with or without scripts. Now I tried to
go back to spybot 1.4 and it is automatically trying to install version 1.6
so I am wondering if any of have used 1.6 and is it accessible? If not, do
you know of a free accessible spyware removal tool?
